Goniter Jhuli - A Comprehensive Mathematics Learning Kit Box

In Bangladesh, a persistent challenge plagues young minds—math anxiety. This issue is exacerbated by traditional teaching approaches and a dearth of tailored learning resources. To counter this, Banglar Math developed curriculum-oriented, competency-based, locally crafted mathematics learning kits, targeting students in classes 3–8. This innovative kit focuses on visualizing concepts, alleviating anxiety, and fostering inclusivity within both home and school environments. 
We are developing a series of the country’s first math learning kits that will help our students mitigate math anxiety or fear and embrace the subject with fun and love. We dream of accessible, quality math learning resources for the students of our country that will make them problem solvers, and we are working with our kits to facilitate that dream.
 
গণিতভীতি বাংলাদেশের একটি বড় সমস্যা। এ সমস্যার জন্য বেশ কয়েকটি কারণ দায়ী- গতানুগতিক লেকচারভিত্তিক শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা, মানসম্পন্ন শিক্ষা উপকরণের অভাব, ত্রুটিপূর্ণ মূল্যায়ন পদ্ধতি ইত্যাদি। এসব কারণে শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে ক্রমাগত শিখন ঘাটতি তৈরি হচ্ছে যা তাদের স্বাভাবিক গণিত শিক্ষার কার্যক্রমকে ব্যাহত করছে। তাই দেশীয় সমস্যা সমাধান উপযোগী, জাতীয় কারিকুলাম ভিত্তিক এবং শিখন যোগ্যতা যাচাই করে এরকম গণিতের শিক্ষা উপকরণ ৩য় – ৮ম শ্রেণির শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য একটি চমৎকার বিকল্প হতে পারে, যার মাধ্যমে তারা গণিতের বিভিন্ন বিষয় বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতার আলোকে বুঝবে এবং ক্রমবর্ধমান গণিতভীতি কাটিয়ে উঠে নিজ ঘরে কিংবা বিদ্যালয়ে অংশগ্রহণমূলক পবিবেশে গণিত শিখবে।
বাংলার ম্যাথের টিম বাংলাদেশের প্রথম ম্যাথেমেটিক্স লার্নিং কিটবক্স তৈরি করছে যার মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা গণিতভীতি কাটিয়ে উঠে বিষয়টিকে ভালোবাসতে শিখবে। আমরা স্বপ্ন দেখি বাংলাদেশের শিক্ষার্থীরা সহজেই গণিতের মানসম্মত শিক্ষা উপকরণ পাবে যা তাদেরকে আগামী বিশ্বের জন্য একজন দক্ষ সমস্যা সমাধানকারী করে তুলবে। সে স্বপ্ন পূরণের লক্ষ্যে আমরা অবিরাম কাজ করে যাচ্ছি।

Goniter Jhuli is series of mathematics learning kit boxes based on national curriculum of Bangladesh (NCTB). It targets the competency achievement of students through experiential learning. পিরামিডের খোঁজে or In the search of Pyramid is our first math learning kit box which represents the learning journey for a child we want to build over the period.

From the last year, 2022, to today, we have participated in some notable national events such as Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad(BdMO), Bangladesh Junior Science Olympiad (BdJSO), Scratch Programming Celebration Day etc. to popularize our learning kits among the school going students and their parents.
